NDDC Hosts MIRENSEN-MABED Initiative on Stakeholders’ Consultation for Clean Marine Ecosystem Procurement.

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Port Harcourt hosted the MIRENSEN-MABED Initiative for a strategic consultation meeting focused on fostering wider collaboration among ocean and marine environment management agencies and stakeholders for cooperation.

The meeting established windows to call more marine ecosystem conservation stakeholders to support the proposed Marine Environment Stakeholders Summit (MESS WEEK) themed:
“Clean Marine Environment: Catalyst for Economic Growth and Sustainability,”
as facilitated by the NDDC Directorate of Environment, Pollution, and Control (EPC) and coordinated by Engr. Onuoha Obeka, Director, EPC.

The session emphasized the urgent need for multi-stakeholder synergy to achieve a sustainable and pollution-free marine ecosystem in the Niger Delta and beyond.
