NPA, Rivers Port Hosts MIRENSEN-MABED Initiative and Stakeholders’ Consultation Session in Port Harcourt.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Rivers Ports, hosted the second special session of the MIRENSEN-MABED Initiative’s and Stakeholders for Consultation Meeting at the NPA office in Port Harcourt.
The session featured key stakeholders and environmental advocates, including
- The founder / Executive Director of the MIRENSEN-MABED Initiative, Amb. Sokari Gospel Afiesimama.
- Sir Allwel Okerekun, Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Environment
- Mr. Fieyenemika, Director, Pollution and Soil Management.
- Dr. Chijioke K. Ukadike, Manager, Corporate Communications and Strategy at NPA, Rivers Ports Office, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
The event marked another strategic step toward building multi-agency synergy for the upcoming 2025/2026 Marine Environment Stakeholders Summit (MESS WEEK) and the project’s overriding essence for creating millions of marine ecosystem development jobs for the coastal communities dwellers.
